How the bot works

Live WebSocket feed — Connects directly to the exchange WebSocket for real-time OHLCV candle data, with automatic reconnection and a persistent buffer to survive brief disconnections.

Signal evaluation — Runs the active strategy (RSI, MACD, Scalping, Bollinger Bands, Regime Switching, etc.) on every candle close to determine entry and exit conditions in real time.

Limit order placement — Places precise limit buy orders at calculated entry prices rather than chasing with market orders, reducing slippage and exchange taker fees.

Unified sell anchor — Manages all open positions under a single sell target, locking in profit for the entire accumulated stack at once when the target price is reached.

Automatic cycle reset — After a completed sell cycle the bot immediately re-evaluates conditions and re-enters — fully autonomous with zero human input required.

Stop loss & trailing stop — Configurable hard stop loss and optional trailing stop protect against adverse moves and lock in unrealised gains when price trends favourably.

How often does it trade?

Trade frequency depends on the active strategy and market conditions. Scalping strategies may evaluate signals every 5 minutes and place orders multiple times per day. Trend-following strategies may hold a position for days waiting for confirmation. The console log shows every signal evaluation and order event in real time.

Why does the strategy or pair change sometimes?

The bot is actively managed and reconfigured based on shifting market conditions. When the market regime changes — for example from a ranging market (better for Scalping or Grid) to a trending market (better for Trend Following or MACD) — the strategy is updated to match. Pair and exchange may also rotate to follow the best opportunity.
